Christie Mountain Ski Patrol

photo 1The Christie Mountain Ski Patrol is made up of dedicated and trained volunteer skiers and snowboarders that provide initial emergency care, stabilization and evacuation to injured skiers, snowboarders and tubers  on the hill and on the premises of Christie Mountain. The patrol  trains for emergency situations such as rescuing skiers and boarders from the chair lift, steep slopes, wooded areas, etc.
          
Local emergency services that support the Christie Mountain Ski Patrol are
        - Rusk County Ambulance service (Basic EMT)
        - Bruce Fire and Rescue
        - Rice Lake Ambulance service (paramedic)
        - Life Link III Helicopter
    
The Christie Mountain Ski Patrol is a part of the Central Division, Western Region of the National Ski Patrol.
