Getting your kids into skiing or snowboarding can feel overwhelming—what ticket do they need? Should you rent gear? Do they need a lesson? At Christie Mountain, we make it simple with affordable lift tickets, easy rentals, and expert-led lessons to help your child have a great first experience. And if they decide skiing or snowboarding isn’t their thing, our snow tubing hill offers just as much fun with zero experience needed!

East Street is a small mellow trail that is a great place to introduce your child to using a rope tow & learning the basics.

Cottontail is just like Easy Street but wider & longer. This is a great place to learning how to take wide turns and gain a little more speed.

Beginners start on gentle rollers, banked turns, and small features that help guide their movements and build confidence.
These features make it easier to stop, turn, and balance, creating a stress-free environment that helps new skiers and riders progress quickly.

Q: What About Lessons?
Answer: “We Got em!” - There are a number of Packages for lessons. We keep lessons simple and affordable to give everyone the opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard.

Our Kinder School program teaches children ages 3 - 7 the basics of skiing through play. Kinder School sets the foundation for basic ski skills. Each 2 hour lesson costs $40 per student.
Choose from the following sessions Saturday or Sunday and make your reservations online.
10:30am to 12:30pm
1:30pm to 3:30pm

Christie Mountains private ski/snowboard lessons are available for adults, children, or families looking to have a private learning experience. Our dedicated instructors will be able to focus on you and you alone and tailor your experience exactly to your needs and desires. This is the best way to get exactly what you want out of your Christie Mountain experience.
(private lessons start at $40 for the first person & $20 for an additional member of the same ability

This lesson is for ages 8 & older and is for those who have NEVER skied or snowboarded before. It will start with the basics of how to put on your equipment and progress to one of our beginner areas where your instructor will work with you on how to use the rope tow, turn and stop during this 60 minute lesson.

This lesson is for ages 8 & older and is for those who have some ski or snowboard experience and are looking to brush up on their beginner to advanced beginner skills. Your instructor will start by determining where each student fits in the learning curve, trying to build confidence in their skills and determining what each student can work on after the 60 minute lesson.
